Unlike the floor plans of other oceanfront units that mazimize the number of units along the Gulf and typically have just the living area and perhaps the master bedroom along the ocean front, the Gulf Crest floor plan features the dining area, the living area and master bedroom all directly overlooking the Gulf of America! This unique design allows for 2 separate glass walkouts to the expansive balcony plus an additional floor to ceiling "wall-of-windows" that offers a breathtaking view of the ocean and incredible Gulf Coast sunsets. Furthermore, the layout allows for a massive 350 square foot balcony that is amongst the largest of any 2 bedroom unit on the beach . Overall, the unique features of the Gulf Crest complex have led it to have one of the highest repeat guest rates of any complex on the beach!
About Our Condo:
The condo is 1388 square feet. Added to the large 350square foot (9ft wide by 39ft long) fully furnished and decorated oceanfront balcony, the total adds up to almost 1750 square feet of space which is approximately 25% larger that other typical two bedroom condos. Some guests have found that because the condo is so spacious and with separate, full-sized bunk beds, it can often fulfill the requirement for a 3 bedroom unit at a more reasonable rate!
Professionally decorated with upscale furnishings, your family will enjoy soaring 9' 4" ceilings with crown mouldings, breathtaking wall-to-wall floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Gulf, ceiling fans throughout, a well-appointed kitchen with all the amenities, high-end appliances and a breakfast bar with seating for 3, and a beautiful dining area with seating for 6 and a walk-out to the balcony.
The master suite includes a king bed and a private bathroom with a double vanity, tub and shower with glass enclosure and a large walk in closet. It includes a Gulf front view with a sliding door walkout to the expansive balcony. The second bedroom with a queen bed accesses a second full sized guest bathroom that also features a tub and shower with glass enclosure. Additional built-in full sized twin bunk beds round out the sleeping facilities. Children love the bunk beds but they can also easily accommodate adults 6 feet tall. For families with a wee one, we also have a new high chair and padded playpen/sleeper. All bathroom sinks and bath tubs are cultured marble and each bathroom is equipped with a hairdryer. Full washer and dryer facilities are also available in a convenient separate laundry room.
The expansive, fully furnished and decorated balcony has a totally unobstructed and breathtaking view for as far as you can see up and down the beach! With a perfect south-west oceanfront exposure overlooking the beautiful emerald-green water and sugar-white sand of the Gulf of America, words cannot describe the breathtaking sunsets, described as among the world's best, you will enjoy as you relax in one of the loungers or rockers with a beverage.
Our condo includes free padded beach loungers and large umbrella setup for 2 guests (in season) and additional sets are available

- state-of-the-art wi-fi internet service accessible throughout the complex, pool deck and out to the beach

Gulf Crest Resort Condominium Amenities:
Gulf Crest amenities include: fully gated secure community, 300 feet of ocean frontage, tropical landscaping, convenient assigned covered parking (2 parking spots available attached to building so there is no road overpass to walk with your luggage), three high-speed elevators (serving only 7 units per floor), two large outdoor pools (one heated year round) with poolside chaise lounges, two heated Jacuzzi baths, and a kiddy pool. It also features a Tiki Bar serving food and beverages, poolside/beach wireless internet access (working vacation anyone), gazebo with picnic area, three poolside charcoal BBQ grills, a pool level fitness spa, games room, a gated boardwalk dune walk-over to the beach, and outdoor showers.
The complex is convenient to many great restaurants and many amusement park attractions. Bumper boats, go carts, Emerald Falls Water Park, oyster bars, and miniature golf are all also within walking distance. In addition, the area has loads of other family attractions and for the naturalist, within minutes to one of the top national coastal state parks – St Andrews State Park: sugar white sand beaches and dunes, nature trails, wildlife watching, snorkeling, diving, fishing, para sailing, jet-ski rentals, pontoon boat rentals, and more.
